Saw this game for cheap, so I grabbed it as I'm a huge Doom fan! This game is so fun and addictive!

The game is NOT a fast paced mindless shooter. This one is more of a survival horror along the lines Dead Space and Quake. They took a very different approach with the Doom title but hey, it’s still scary. This is a remaster of an original Xbox game

I remember playing the very first dos doom on pc. lots of great childhood memories there. They of course remastered it, but only the controls, not the game play. Is' stayed true to the original and even has both Doom 1&2 plus the resurrection as well as bonus mission.

My household loves that this can be played for the Xbox 360 and the Xbox one as well. It has Doom 1, 2, and 3 so it’s cool to get the different options

Great game I bought it pre-owned. It was a great deal because you get 3 games. Doom, Doom 2 and Doom 3, but what sold me about it was that it was compatible with my Xbox One right out of the box.

Could not pass this up with the gamers club discount. A lot of game for the money. Hoping it runs better on the new Xbox One X

The run and gun nature of the originals is gone, but a foreboding atmosphere that makes you dread every next step has taken its place. The monster closets opening behind you can feel cheap at times, but the game generally does a great job balancing an action-heavy FPS with the more methodical feel of a light survival horror corridor crawler. This is the package to get if you have any interest. Aside from including the expansion to Doom 3, it includes the original Doom 1 and 2 as well. Compared to the original Doom 3, the BFG edition does include changes like better graphics, and more importantly, the ability to hold a flashlight and a gun at the same time. Some might prefer this, but I actually preferred the original feeling of having to choose between light and a way to defend yourself.

Doom 3 is a departure from the original Doom idea. Gone are the crazy music riffs, circle strafing demon dance, arenas and labyrinthine levels of h e l l . Say hello to story cinematic, voice acting, small claustrophobic levels with panic inducing lighting and creepy sounds. The game is basically Event Horizon on Mars...more horror and less crazy action. This version also includes the original Doom and Doom 2, and they play excellent with a controller. Great emulation, 60fps (for the most part), no screen tearing, a whole lotta scares and Cyber Demons to blow up. Oh yeah, and the marines finally realized they can attach a flashlight to their weapons... or in this case to their chest plate. Whatever, the game makes more sense now. I'll leave you with this amazing quote from George something or other: "Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change or turn on a flashlight cannot see anything."Powerful stuff.

I got this game to get the (almost) entire Doom saga on Xbox One (it's backwards compatible). Everything looks and plays great on the Xbox One but there are a couple of caveats here:1. The game is very buggy. It has crashed on me twice already in less than 5 hours of gameplay and thus I lost some progress.2. It's missing Final Doom. The PS3 digital-only compilation Doom Classic Complete seems to be the only modern console port with Final Doom.Other than that, it's Doom! Go get it.

This is a great edition of doom. This game has all the previous versions of the game of Doom on the XBOX ONE.This even has the original Doom that I played on my Super Nintendo when I was a young buck. This game brings back the memories.

I had to buy this game, due to lack of compatibility with original doom 3 with newer windows OS (win 10). So instead of buying it for PC I choose xbox 360 so I can save some gb on my hdd. To bad I cannont use a keyboard on xbox. Graphics are good, do not expect any upgrade on X360 version, its like playing the original doom 3 on PC with a high end card.
